Azadi Cineplex hosts ‘Damascus Time’ director, star

Azadi Cineplex hosts public screening of acclaimed Iranian film ‘Damascus Time’ with the attendance of director and cast.

Tehran-based Azadi Cineplex held public screening of the picture Sunday with director Ebrahim Hatamikia and one of the main cast Hadi Hejazifar in attendance.

Popular Iranian actors such as Babak Hamidiyan and Hadi Hejazifar as well as a number of actors from Syria and Lebanon are the movie's main cast.

‘Damascus Time’ has recently managed to grab some awards, including Crystal Simorgh for Best Director, at the latest edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

Hatamikia’s new offering with a focus on terrorism and Daesh was named the second top-grossing films in the first week of Nowruz screenings at Iranian cinemas.

The flick has gone down a storm at cinemas across Iran with extra screenings added to playlist of many theaters.
